OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help our clients stand strong against their cancers. We yearn for a world without cancer - of course, no cure for cancer currently exists. So instead, we stand strong with our clients and support them in their fight against their cancer, when their doctors can offer no more conventional treatments. By researching modern clinical trials, we aim to help patients make a well-informed decision in choosing a promising clinical trial.
The way we choose to live determines the quality of life we enjoy, even during our last moments. Our goal is to ensure our terminally-ill clients understand that there are options available when their doctors cannot prescribe any more treatments for their cancer.
Ultimately, we hope to extend the lives of our patients by recommending potential clinical trials that can treat their resistant cancers. And we desire to help our patients live their lives with brightness and hope, as they do not just give up and pass away. Instead, they fight for each day and live for the next, ultimately surviving with the highest possible quality of life.
To us, there is no such thing as being terminally ill - EVERYONE has to eventually die.
NEVER LOSE HOPE
While we are alive, let us all enjoy the beauty of each day and the beauty of this world.
And while we enjoy this world, let's battle this disease - may that be through fundraising, advocacy, or research. Together and for our future generations, we can rid our world of this enemy
once and for all.
This not-for-profit consultancy is dedicated to the life of Dr. Ekramul Kabir MD
Dr. Ekramul Kabir was a practicing radiologist and philanthropist of over 30 years, who lived with colorectal cancer for 9 years before he passed away in 2010. When diagnosed as metastatic (spread to distant organs), most cancer patients suffering from his deadly form of cancer typically have a life expectancy of less than a year. Dr. Kabir, on the other hand, lived with metastatic colorectal cancer for nearly 5 years. When his doctor told him he had only 6 months to one year left in 2006, he decided to go to war against his disease and actively fight his cancer to his last breath in 2010. He lived every day in battle - and enjoyed every day with the brightness of hope and happiness.
This consultancy was established to help other cancer patients live as Dr. Ekramul Kabir did.
